I know this is an older trip report, but I enjoyed reading through it again. Nice job!

Yup, Sunman does it right.

Survived a recent trip down the gulf side last month after a multi-year hiatus. Think I'll give my old spot on the Pacific side a shot this summer. The fishing in Mex is always off the hook!

Markus,
Was your port of entry TJ? What problems if any did you encounter? Were you traveling alone? Did you go south of San Quintin?
Thanks.

We were headed a couple hours past San Felipe and crossed the border into Mexicali. The gulf side is very quite and desolate at times, no problems at all. We did have a large caravan of kayak fisherman, but I would do the trip again with less travelers and feel good about it.

This is still the best trip report ever even though I no longer own a FWC. Thank you Sunman!

Ha!
Many moons and many thousands of miles ago. A lot of good memories in that rig. Baja never gets old. Thanks SD.
