I am in the market for a FWC, and new to the hobby. Can you tell me what the base weight of the camper is with the options that you have on it? What truck do you run with it?

Thanks

the weight for this model as it sits is 890 pounds. The best way to check what truck it fits on is to go to the Four Wheel Camper we site as they have a fitting section. It is made for a 8 foot box truck. In order to fit on some of the newer pickups you may need to use a 2X4 frame

A Grandby works just fine on a short bed by leaving the tailgate down. I've had a 1996 Grandby on my short bed Dodge over 6 years without problem. You just need to find out if an older Grandby will fit your truck depending on the year and what kind of truck you have.

I'm very interested in a camper just like this but live very far from Minnesota. In my research this page has been very helpful: http://www.fourwh.co...eral-fit-guide/
