---SOLD---

2012 Raven Four Wheel Camper

1,275 shipping weight per FWC

This camper is in excellent condition, needs nothing, and everything works. It smells and looks new, and no pets, children, or smokers have been inside. There are minor surface marks/scratches along the exterior top/sides from tree branches (from normal backcountry use) that don’t show in photos but are there. Stored inside. I’m only selling this unit because I have a new Ram truck that this camper does not fit.

I’m a full disclosure type of guy, and understand people may need to travel to buy this camper. I’ve done my best to describe and show everything as completely and accurately as possible.

This Raven was made for a second Generation Toyota Tundra CrewMax, and I believe it also fits a late model Ford F-150 SuperCrew; both have deep beds. When in doubt, refer to FWC’s fit guide.

It has the rollover couch/bed interior layout and some very special and cool optional features, including:

-Extra long slide-out bed with extra cushions, making TRUE Queen bed, for luxurious sleeping. [77.5" port-starboard & 80.5" fore-aft]
-NovaKool R4500, 4.3 cu.ft./112 liter compressor refrigerator/freezer, AC/DC.
-Glass top stove combined with the larger and more practical stainless steel sink.
-Whale Marine pullout faucet and mixer, with built-in on/off valve.
-Zamp solar 80-watt panels (two, the same company supplies Sportsmobile West panels), with a Blue Sky Energy Solar Boost 2000E Charge Controller and power point tracker
-Extra fluorescent light on the passenger side above the couch. Fluorescent was chosen over LED because of the broader, less concentrated output.
-Keystone shower pan w/ drain hose and extra drain at rear of camper. Possible to shower inside, but it’s tight and I always showered outside.
-Custom battery compartment holds two large group 31 deep cycle batteries, currently Odyssey 12V. The same group 31 battery will fit on the stock battery tray of a second generation Tundra for interchangeability, possibly other trucks as well.

--------------------

A similar new Raven would cost about $25,000, plus sales tax for a total cost of over $27,000. This camper is available and ready for camping now. Four Wheel Camper’s current wait for new orders is approx. 12 weeks (some of these custom features might not be available from FWC at this time).

-Raven Base Price $14,495
-Mechanical Camper Jacks w/ Brackets (4 corner) – $ 695.00
-Compressor Refrigerator/Freezer, large (AC/DC) – $ 1390.00
[This Raven has an arguably better, 122-liter NovaKool, a Canadian company where a person actually answers the phone when you call…]
-Forced Air Furnace w/ Thermostat – $ 595.00 [I upgraded to a digital thermostat]
-Flush Mount Glass Top Stove– $ 400.00
-Whale Marine pull-out sink faucet $150.00
-DSI Hot Water / Outside Shower Package – $ 780.00
-Fan-Tastic fan/roof vent  $ 295.00
-2nd Fan-Tastic fan/roof vent  $ 295.00
-Front Opening Window – $ 195.00
-Awning, 8-foot w/ Side Awning Light – $ 795.00
-Aluminum Roof Rack – $ 295.00
-Rear Wall Steps  (better access to the roof) – $ 195.00
-160-Watt Zamp Solar Panel w/ Charge Controller (Roof Mounted) – $ 995.00
[With optional Blue Sky Solar controller, LED readout]
-Fluorescent Interior Lights  (optional) – $ 120.00
-Extra, 3rd fluorescent light over couch $100.00
-Rear Flood Lights (LED) – $ 395.00
-LED Exterior Lighting Package – $ 250.00
-Thermal/Arctic Pack (good for both hot & cold weather) – $ 475.00
-Camper Battery System — 1st Battery (wiring, separator, battery) – $ 395.00
-2nd Deep Cycle Battery  (dual battery setup) – $ 225.00
[Custom battery compartment holds two large group 31 deep cycle batteries, currently Odyssey 12V.]
-Interior Gas Strut Roof Lift Assists – $ 325.00
- Queen-bed super extended slide-out [77.5" port-starboard & 80.5" fore-aft] $375.00
-One of the last campers made w/ older style, darker grey pop-up fabric.
-Extra solar plug on rear wall $50.00
-Stereo, AM/FM/CD w/ aux. input jack $395.00
-Satellite Radio upgrade w/antenna on roof $200.00
-Keystone-style portable shower pan w/drain hose $325.00
-Rear sink drain rear of camper for shower pan $100.00
-Footman loop tie-downs in the porta potty storage area $25.00
These worked perfectly with straps supplied by FWC (included) to secure a PETT toilet and a 5-gallon gray water container.
-Drill adaptor for jacks $30.00

That looks like a really short bed.  What is the length?  Also I am trying to figure out what the wall steps are.  Also what is the load rating of the roof?

Yes, the Raven is the full-size camper for the shortest beds, 5.5–6' beds. I believe the camper length is 5'8".

The rear wall, fold-out steps allow climbing the rear of the camper and access to the roof rack. I don't know the rating of the roof rack but do know the roof is not rated for 'walking on'.

The rear steps are also pretty handy for hanging trash bags, stringing-up stuff to dry, etc.

Thanks for update.  I did a little research and read that it can hold 1000 lbs of evenly distributed load (1000 lbs of snow) but only recommend carrying 100 lbs on it.

What is the length of the dinette sleeper?  Is it more for kids than adults?

I also use my rear steps to tie one end of a hammock and the other end on a nearby tree

Agreed, that and similar tie-off uses make the rear steps handy.

I carried a small, sturdy aluminum step ladder on the rack to allow me to stand (taller) next to the camper do dump extra water into the tank. I used the rear steps to secure and access the ladder in the field.
