The interior ceiling of my four wheel camper grandby ~2002 is sagging.  the molding that holds the interior ceiling padding up keeps popping out.  initially i was able to just tack it back in place, using the original tacks, using a rubber mallet and it would hold for weeks.  No longer the case!

Any suggestions on how to repair this?

Small screws. The aluminum is thin. Using my Dewalt driver a small screw goes right in.

thanks.  that was my thought.  just tough to believe that the tacks were going through aluminum and not wood.

Or add a bit of thread lock or even silicon to the tacks.

This way you can maintain the look.

You have nothing to lose (unless you make a mess).

Have the same issue here, I haven't figured a way to stretch the fabric far enough to glue/silicon to track, any thoughts ?

I opened a section of my ceiling to install solar feed wires at the fabric seam To reinstall I used 3M 90 contact glue on the aluminum and fabric Using 2 coats I was surprised how well it held while stretched tight
I used smallish screws from piano hinge w pilot hole and countersink to hold moulding in place. It's held for the last 2 years and looks factory
