Hello fellow WTW friends!

As we read each other's postings centered around Four Wheel Campers, and journeys we've taken, projects we've completed or projects we just started, problems we need help solving, the excitement of getting our first FWC, we all chose our unique forum name.

I find it amusing to think of what each name might represent, and how it came to you. It's just fun!

It's like the movie Smoky and the Bandits, "breaker, breaker 19, this here's the rubber duck....." Why "rubber duck"?

So, for those of you who wish to do so, as you enjoy your wanderings in your camper, and your choice of vehicle to carry it, and you share your experiences, what's behind your forum name?

Me? I chose PokyBro because it just came to me, and sounded fun (perhaps to some kind of goofy), and because, well, my project has been a long one, and at times I just think I'm pretty slow and pokey, and don't get much done. I'm having fun though, and that's what counts, right? I'm kind of that way in life as well. I like to take my time, and enjoy the journey at a nice even pace that works for me. (Don't tell anyone, but my real name is Randy)

I hope some others out there have wondered this same thing. I thought it would be kind of fun to learn about each other, and enjoy how each of you conjured up your own forum name. I don't plan on commenting much on this thread in the future, so it will stay alive for awhile, or it will die as a bad idea, it's up to you!

About 12 years ago I needed an Internet name. My big yellow lab, Hardy Sagebrush Shaman (Sage) was 'wandering' across the yard... He lives on...

I usually go by Bandit Bill online, because that is the type of motorcycle I ride.

I went with Bill D on this site because it's more personal and this is a mature group.

I used to use first and last name online when I ran an online detailing product supply business.

I know most people are uncomfortable putting their real name on the internet, but it can have benefits.

eg. Everyone knows and loves Bill Harr on this site.  It's real easy for people to connect with him.  If he starts selling some of his magnificent mods.  People would trust him and know who to make the cheque out to. :)

Food for thought as we engage in this fun conversation.

There's this beautiful little creek  in the N.F. of the Clearwater drainage named Cayuse Creek that is a not a difficult stretch of whitewater but the scenery is outstanding.

I use the moniker on most forums that I'm on.

Back in the 60's and 70's I was a fan  of the Virginia City camel races and was given the CB handle Camelracer.

Foy is my middle name and the one I've gone by for nearly 61 years. I got it from my father and grandfather, born in 1929 and 1897, respectively.  It was a far less uncommon name in the 1890s.

Wango, had it since I was a kid. Came from a song by Ted Nugent, and given to me as sort of a suggestion, as in Wayne go!
