Tremendous pics at that DesertUSA link Bill.

Definitely now is the time to go see the wild flowers on the Carrizo.

One more.

Thanks Richard what great flower colors.

On Tuesday nights NBC news they had two shots from the space station of the Carrizo,

one during no flowers and a current one with all the flower color. They didn't mention the place name though.

Amazing to see that from outer space.

I've only been to Carrizo once and while it was not in bloom it was still very impressive. Sure wish I could sneak up there for a quick trip but my schedule right now won't allow it. Thanks to all who share their wonderful photographs and stories.

Sunman, thanks for the link. As close as we live we need to get there in a week or so.

We were last there about this same time in 2011. Had much the same weather. Some snow spits/rain/wind,but the colors were nice.

Met up with some other members who were meeting to have a music jam.
