I think I've heard that their dad or some other older family member started FWC in Colorado.
Looks like they have a very different structural construction of the frame than the way FWC and ATC builds a frame.

I would have to have it shipped to the east coast. So add on $1000 to $1500. If it was on the east coast I would go get it...

To the op, with a limited budget, might be a good idea to guesstimate what you will carrying and spend part of the"limited budget" on suspension upgrade.i would imagine your tires would need an upgrade also.
I am not assuming anything, most of us started with the same process.
Great thinking. My camper budget does not account for truck mods. But my truck budget sure does
