I've been looking at these water bricks. I like how they stack and nest together.

13.5 x 11.25 x 9.5 per REI specs, but as they’re NLA it’s moot.Looking at these 4 gal containers, I can't wrap my head around the size. They are 20x9.5x13.5" each. 5 of them = 20gal... and would be 100 x 9.5" x 13.5". My FWC 20 gal tank is only 25 x 14 x 14. I was thinking I might use portable tanks like these for the PUMA build, but this makes no sense, space wise.
I'm thinking I must be missing something here...

I decided to get both carriers. Rotopax on the drivers side, which will only get filled on long off road trips, and an AT jerry can holder on the passenger side which I plan to use for my water supply. Much easier to just have it built that way from the factory from the get-go. How's that for a compromise?! Thanks all for your input.

We've been using the water bricks for years, really like them. The only issue is that the pour spout is in the center, so once the brick is ½ empty, you have to tip it, not that big a deal. I love how they lock together, super stable.
