I just became the new owner of what appears to be an older FWC, model unknown. I haven’t found any plates or stickers that say for sure but all evidence is pointing that way. Previous owner said that all he knew was that it came from Colorado. Hopefully through pictures and such y’all can help me figure out a model and year.
I had originally planned on waiting a while before posting but I’m already having some questions and I haven’t even had the camper for 24 hrs. I’ve been watching the forum for a while, whilst keeping my eye out for a project camper. There is a wealth of knowledge on the site and some very talented craftsmen. I, on the other hand have limited knowledge, tools and resources. My goal is to get the camper to a usable/ comfortable state, not factory original or the Taj Mahal of slide in truck bed campers. Household 6 approved the project as long as it came to no expense to the bank account, thus this rebuild will be sourced out to repurposed, up-cycled and “acquired” items (i.e. bartered, scavenged or purchased with “side money “)

Which leads me to a new question about the site. How do I post pictures from an iPhone?

I ended up scrolling to the bottom of the mobile friendly site and clicking the button for the full site. Then click on reply to this topic. You can upload images there. They will probably need to be resized.

Well alright then, maybe I got that part figured out. Thanks for the help. This was the initial load up, I hadn’t even popped the top yet.

We made it home without incident , unloaded it in the garage and popped her open for the first time.
