I have posted numerous times on Wander the West about the build process. You can read about it here: Anatomy of a Hawk Flat Bed Build

If you have visited the FWC website recently, you have seen this rig and photos of it on numerous pages throughout their website.

You may want to rethink your pricing. There is a 2017 Woolrich Grandby Flatbed on a 2017 Ram 3500 with a Norweld tray being sold for less than this package. Just saying. Beautiful build but selling these packages are tough especially if someone wants a larger more capable truck.

Good Luck.... I hope it sells quickly!!!

Your <delete> reply to Pax’s constructive criticism is comical

Might want to post some real weights of this from a certified scale so the buyer knows how much over GVWR it is...

Having just put a 2019 Hawk on my 2019 Tundra doublecab, I am curious why you, CamperCamper, are selling your carefully considered custom flatbed build so soon. Is there something that you realized was a unanticipated problem? I read through your build postings and you seemed so excited about it being the set-up you would use for many years to come. If it is personal, then it is none of my business, but if it had to do with the truck or camper or both it would be very helpful for someone in my situation to know, so I can prepare and maybe head off similar gear issues.

Simply stated: If this rig was stolen or destroyed in a wild fire etc. I would rebuild exactly the same.....if life allowed. It has performed flawlessly! My wife and I love the remote and solo camping in beautiful locations that this rig allows us to reach. Unfortunately, she had two back surgeries last year and the setup is just too rugged and difficult for her current condition. We are sad but life is full of compromise and choices.

I sure do empathize with your decision. I can't tell you how many times life has interrupted my plans, resulting in delays or even dropping those ideas altogether. You have my best wishes and I hope your wife can find health and wellness to enjoy the things she enjoys the most.

Kindest,

Tony

A lot of planning hours and work hours went into this build.  It will make somebody happy to use it.

Good luck with the sale.
