For Sale: Flippac Camper

Jackson Wyoming

 

$3,000obo

 

3rd owner, good condition, new torsion bar from 12 degree north outfitters (vegas?), rain fly.  Some minor tears in window screens but nothing major.  All window zips work/functional.  Arms for top need to be repaired/replaced (we never used, in heavy winds, we just weighted top bed area with no issues).  2 interior lights fully functional when wired.  

 

Rough Dimensions:

Fits 6 foot truck bed, we had it on a 2015 Tacoma; Flippac dimensions (exterior measurement)  64.5ā€ Width,  74.5ā€ Length,  29ā€ Height.

 

Includes the rain fly, crank arm for opening/closing, arms and hood clips; have the bolts/mounts from our tacoma bed laying around, but also can be temporarily clamped on with larger, ~4" clamps.

Just a point of interest.

 

We owned a flipPac for many years, traveled with it permanently mounted to our Ranger. It was probably 10 years old when we sold it. We never had a problem with our torsion bar and aways used the vertical supports under the bed attached to the pins on the hood of the truck. They not only prevent the fliPac from lifting in high winds, they support the weight of the bed and occupants. Whoever buys this unit should consider replacing and using the supports. Not sure but I would think that not using them might damage the torsion bar, but why take a chance. Also, the support pins on the hood need to be placed so the arms are at an angle and the bed is flat, not the way shown in the photo.

 

FliPac is a great unit, we had lots of fun in it, until we got to old to climb in and out over the tailgate. LOL
