Being 3 days old now,for my area not much has changed.
It's been "spring" for most of the new year.
Don't think we'll get much rain the rest of the season.
Now it's time to start our camping/trip planing.

The clocks are moved ahead and the peach trees are beginning to blossom. Snow is predicted for Sunday. Yup, it's spring.

We felt the small earthquake centered 10 miles north of Truckee last evening. Is the globe waking up from winter also?
In regards to saying goodbye to winter, our snowpack is at 38% of normal. Better question could be, "What winter?"

No cold to kill off the bugs but otoh there shouldn't be much in the way of swampy areas. If only we weren't working 24/7.

Definitely "Spring" here too... low tonight of just 19*F, and it will be -19*F on Saturday and +18*F overnight by next week. Makes for messy streets!

Lets see here, last few days have been pretty cold at night, high 50's and 60's w lot's of sun during the day. We are supposed to have a "BIG', what used to be normal winter type cold front with lot's of snow both in the valleys and high country move in on Saturday and last thru Tuesday. You could be right ,yep must be Spring time again, and maybe the storm should even help our dwindling snow pack!
