My biggest rainbow to date.   From about 1990.  The fish was released.

Wood River Oregon? Very nice trout. I wonder what is swimming around in my archives? :)

Great fish. The Wood was an amazing fishery in those days. Huge fish in small water. Glad we can still have our memories. Still big fish in Agency when they aren't being choked by algae and warm water. I had a 5 pounder from the lake a couple years ago that jumped over the back of the boat and almost gave me heart failure.

Tight lines...sometime in the near future.

I believe the fish are still there...  and still big.  When temps go up, the fish from Agency probably go back into the Wood or Williamson for cooler temps and better oxygenation.

The upper Williamson has suffered from low flows and weeding in, but I suspect from Spring Creek down it remains ok.
