My  TruckFridge(Indel B) will not start up. Worked great for 3 years. It is the small 18 quart DC only model. It came with a DC cigarete type plug which I plug into the the DC port provided by FWC which I believe is wired through the buss panel, where all fuses there look good. It also does not start using a separate DC plug I installed that is direct wired to the battery with a 15 amp fuse. Both plugs worked when I returned from Arizona end of January. Since then I have not used the  fridge but it has been in the camper when I drove up to the local ski hill a few times this spring.

The power cord looks good and I unplugged it from the fridge and the connectors look good. I put the probes of my volt meter in the plug and it shows 12.85V so the cord seems good.I also vacuumed out the three vents.

What happens is when I pull the DC  switch out the LED panel on the  fridge lights up with a single row of dashes briefly then clears and that is normal. the single row of dashes means is is set on the lowest battery protection level which is not the default -I put it there during the original configuration and the memory has held that setting. Also, the interior light does  come on when I lift the lid. When I press the power button nothing happens and the settings button and temperature up/down buttons do nothing. I had a battery charger on until this morning and it showed 12.8 V and my volt meter showed the same. I pulled the rig out of the garage before trying the fridge and the solar panel got the voltage up to 13.6 while I was testing the  fridge.

Any guesses? Mine is something came loose while driving up skiing. Also, maybe something wrong with the power cord where enough volts get through for the lights but not to power up.

I recently repaired our 51 liter truckfridge chest refrigerator. It was a different issue, not as you describe. Call truckfridge and talk with a tech. I found them very helpful, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and sent me the part needed for me to make the repair.

Thanks Ski. They do have good support and I needed it when the unit was new to get the battery protection setting working.

Looks like it is the power button. I kept pushing it, trying different pressures and angles, and it finally came on. If I turn it off it requires several tries before it starts up. One time the display showed a code 19 which is not in the manual. But it cooled down normally so keeping my fingers crossed.
