I have a couple 1 lb bottles I want to take along in my travels. I have room in the propane locker to put them. What is the best way to secure them and is it safe to do this?
Should I store them outside somehow?
Thanks!

The propane locker, in my opinion, would be fine. We store ours in the basement of the camper, or in the Ranger bed if we are towing.

A pair of canisters (for our little SportCat heater) placed within a secure weatherproof pouch, resting just outside the left rear turnbuckle door until they're needed inside.

Great question/answers.
I keep one in the propane locker and any others also in the
turnbuckle space. It has work out well for us.
Actually haven't had the need to use them so far.

In the propane cabinet, inside an old sock so it doesn't bang around.

I put a couple in a cotton bag and as others have said put the extra ones outside the turnbuckle door. The one in use I put in with propane bottles.

I refill mine and weigh them to ensure no over filling.Brass caps with rubber washers are available on amazon. The caps make me feel better about storing them in the camper.
