any reason i should not put an AGM in the truck?

I have two starting AGM's in our diesel. I'd say buy a name brand, not a store brand, but do your research first.

Many of the GM oem batteries are AGM batteries.

Why would a 2015 year truck need a new battery?  My last 2005 Ram 2500 went 10 years on the original dual starting batteries.

Five years on an OEM sla starting battery? I’d say that’s about right, ten years is a happy anomaly. Do a bit of research on who makes the AGM for Autozone, you may find it’s a re-branded item from a major mfg.

I run Deka Intimidator AGM batteries from East Penn in both my current Tundra and previously owned Xterra. No issues at all, ever with either. No cold weather starting issue either. I'm an MK power mobility equipment battery dealer, so I have had a relationship with East Penn going on 20 years. Personally, I wouldn't deal with anyone else. They've been excellent to us and their MK power mobility batteries are the best.

This is the battery that ATC prefers to use.
