hi yall, my camper came with the vent, but no fan. I ordered the fan insert upgrade kit but am a bit confused on the wiring. What goes to what here?

Thanks!

Whelp, got it figured out, but it only rotates one way.  The reverse switch doesn't work.  So it only sucks, it does not blow.

can you show how you wired it up? The switch in the upper left of your photo is where the fan connects and it provides the reversing function. I think that the vent open switch is connected between the upper left switch and one side of the fan motor. I will see if I have any pictures of how mine is hooked up. Where did you get the fan kit and how much was it? I was thinking about adding one to my cab over vent.

Was there already wiring to the vent or did you have to run that too?  I'm considering this upgrade, but scared to pull my headliner to run the wire.  Wondering if the lighting wires are close by and if it's ok to splice into them.

most campers are pre-wired.  Just remove the internal shroud and have a look.  Wires should be right there.

One thing I'll add.  Not sure if it's possible but I'm pretty sure it is...

Fantastic fan customer service is terrible.  I had issues and had to fight tooth and nail for them to stand behind their product.

Might check out alternatives.MaxxAir :-)
