We just got back from 3 and 1/2 weeks from Portland, through Nevada, to Utah, SW Colorado, Arizona and camped or boondocked all of it except 3 nights at my sister's place in southern Arizona. I am pleased to report we had more than half our locations to ourselves, and when people came by they either waved and moved on or settled into a spot out of sight and sound. I will post details in a week or so after processing the best of over a thousand RAW images.

Thank you too!   We just returned from two nights out on the Eastern Sierra and managed to find fall colors and saw very few people.

Our first camp was a familiar "aspen camp" where we've been lucky a number of times and had it to ourselves.  The second night, we took a spot on an empty loop of a FS campground and had a great time.

Nice to hear there is still hope for the kind people.

Actually there are only a small percentage of "others"

out there.

Glad all had a good time.
