have been by but never there. Nice! Like the ghost groves name too. Good on you for checking up on the other hikers.

We love them too! Although past the peak in several places, it still was very nice. Thanks for the kind comment!

"We were alone all day. There is hardly anything better than that."
Indeed!
The solitude was a much appreciated part of our hiking adventures. How wonderful it is to delve into the sights, sounds, smells of nature without others about. Thanks Vic!

I’m jealous! We are still wrapped up in moving! I had never heard “ghost groves” used before, that’s a great descriptor. Thanks for letting us tag along!
Well Mr. Sage, did done with that moving stuff.
Thanks for your nice comments!

Fantastic fall color pics!! We were there a few days before you and between not feeling 100% and the altitude I could only hike 3-4 miles so your photos showed me all that I missed. Thanks!!
Thanks Ronin! With the smoke and all the other issues this year has brought, it turned out to be a great trip for us and we do revel in the opportunities to get out a move some!
Fun day. Always great seeing wildlife. Even better when you have time to get good photos, not the shoot out the truck window with the mirror in the way kind. Enjoyed the ride along.
Yup, we do love to see the critters. We hoped for elk above the high meadows but no luck. Thanks again, jd!
