Hi Everyone - I recently purchased a 2011 FWC Eagle. The old owner did some cool mods by taking out the rollover couch and cabinet above and putting in custom cabinets. However, I need/want the couch and cabinet in there. I was able to figure out the couch assembly and that's done. I cannot figure out how the long cabinet above the couch is installed. I am hoping someone has a couple pictures of how it's mounted to the wall. I'm afraid I'm missing some pieces. Thanks!

6 or 8 screws directly into the wall.  There should be holes about 3-4" down from the felt strip where the canvas/hard wall meet.

Thanks for the reply! Does the cabinet have a piece of wood on the back side (I.e. against the wall)? And are the door hinges in the front on the top or bottom?

I have on 05 Eagle, and the cabinet above the rollover couch (towards the back) is just a dual slider.  Not sure about what or how they mount to the camper itself.  It *looks* like a direct mount to the wall, but never checked.

 

Honestly, though, the similar style cabinet below the sink/stove is so stuck it barely will slide.  I've been thinking about pulling the doors off and then bottom mounting them with hinges.  I think bottom mount hinges would be better than top, so that you don't have to fuss with keeping them up.  Just let them dangle below, out of the way.
