Hi everyone,
I used to live in the Eastern Sierra but moved away for a bit. Now i'm getting the amazing opportunity to pass through. Got into the Mammoth area Friday evening and spent the last few nights at some of the different hot springs. Crowds seem slightly less than usual. Smoke has been horrendous. I used to occasionally work wildland fires for the USFS so i'm no stranger to smoke but wow has it been socked in down here. Today though it is remarkably clear and getting to enjoy some of the classic eastern sierra views.
