Well, this camper was an amazing first camper but I have since the beginning wanted to own a Four Wheel Camper and well, I finally found one for a good deal. I picked up a late 70's - early 80's Granby and am in the process of getting it renovated.

That means this camper is for sale and will be posting details if the current buyer falls through.

Here is the new one.

Hey, good to see photos of your project. I came into an ‘87 Four Seasons magnum a few months ago and have been remodeling it. I love the size of this thing. Weighed it when I got it with all the original components plus a “Truckfridge” and some firewood and 5 gallons of water and it was 1100 lbs. it’s on a 2000 tundra right now but will be selling the tundra once I finish remodeling and I’ll put it on my ‘17 Sierra 1500. One question I’m trying to figure out is the best way to fix torn screens in these things. I’ve seen “screenmend” and other products, but is there a way to replace the entire screen without removing the pop up material. Can it be done in place?

Hi guys,

I just kinda fell into the camper world here recently thanks to being bored and on Facebook Marketplace.

I found a great deal on what looked to be a good platform to build a little home away from home on my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 Diesel. I do a lot of traveling and as of recently being towing a vehicle to races and a camper sounds enticing.

This was my setup prior to picking this camper up.

So, I went and checked this thing out. It was listed for $200. Too good to be true. Well $200 later and I am the new owner of an 87' Four Seasons Magnum 8ft Camper.

Its certainly not in the best shape of its life by any means, but it looks like the important things are intact.

Let the project begin. O, also did I mention that I plan to take it to Baja Mexico a week from the day I picked it up...

I never totally looked into full screen replacement. With a hook shaped needle it would be possible, but super time consuming and you need some heavy duty needles to puncture the canvas. We patched all the tears in the mesh with this stuff (https://www.amazon.c...1?ie=UTF8&psc=1

) and it worked great for us.
