Wicked,

I didn't go into the weeds when I mentioned self-sufficiency how many more were just "escaping"; not from the virus but the insanity that is in the large population areas long before being locked down....and of course that mind-set is transferred into where ever the hoards flee to...we are seeing it out here in the middle of nowhere.

Folks with funds are "getting out of dodge" but dragging the crap with them....go anywhere but get out of the big city/metropolitan areas...

And after all our FWCs are in the end "escape vehicles" and our little safety zones.

Took the plunge.

Bought the Zamp 170w panel [9 feet of cable with SAE male plug], four of the attachment "feet" [L Foot-Short- 3 hole] that anchor with 3m VHD tape, 4 of the 35mm adapters, 4 T-Knobs and a splitter to connect the Z160 to the Z170 in parallel; [2 pole plug, PV2-1] with two SAE female plugs going to a single SAE male plug to go into roof FWC SAE female through fitting.  Plus added 19.5" tilt rods to bring 170w panel up 45 degrees.

Purchased from AM Solar in Springfield, Oregon.  Total cost:   [including flat rate $12 shipping] $466.

Will post back when installed and hopefully with photos.

Total watts of solar on roof will be 330w plus I have the Zamp 80w portable.

Phil
