Does anyone have any personal experience with a Quechua 10 L Pressure-Balanced Solar Camping Shower? Available from Decathlon

I have used typical solar showers for years, both the little 3 L and 4 gal version. They work okay as long as you have a place to hang it. The 3 L can be a bit small and of course the 4 gal, can be a little big. Its the Goldielocks phenomenon.

I'm looking to upgrade to something a little more civilized. This Quechua unit seems to be a nice size 10 L should be enough for one person to taks a nice long shower or two people to share. Also, I figure it would also be useful for rinsing dishes, waders and wading boots by just filling with cold water. I like the simple pump mechanism. No compressor, no batteries, very similar to some DIY units where people have used new pump sprayers, but this thing seems to get pretty small, and it's reasonable at $69.99.

Anyway, I thought I would check with you all and get some opinions before I pull the trigger.

Thanks

We took this on our last trip in the fall: https://www.rei.com/...wE&gclsrc=aw.ds

It worked surprisingly well. We like it so much we nicknamed it "The Piggy". Leave it full in the sun for a few hours and you have plenty of warm water for two showers with some left over.

We have had the upright version of the Nemo Helio for several years and like it a lot. We use it even though our Hawk has the outside shower.  Our only complaint has been the water filling and pump closures. As we both have some arthritis in our thumbs, having to squeeze them shut with both thumbs causes some momentary discomfort. Perhaps, the piggy style has improved on that.

Paul,

We had a difficult time getting it to seal closed at first. Even thought it must be defective. But finally worked out a technique using the base of both palms that works very easily and securely. But when we move the camper we do keep the piggy in a water proof rubbermaid deep tub in the camper, along with water bladders, just in case something may spring a leak.
