Just wondering if there's any other Viking Pop Up Camper Owners on here.

Just curious to see other peoples Viking Camper Setups.

Thanks.

John

Don’t have the truck camper, I have an old Viking pop up tent trailer of the same vintage as the truck campers. It complements my old FWC well. The owners manual actually covers both campers and trailers. Did you ever find a fix for your HECO lift system?

Lift System is all worked out. Now I have a Roof Issue.

Completely Rotten and Decayed.

Previous Owner said "it didn't leak a drop"

Famous last words. ha ha

Took the Roof off and found waterlogged wood/soaked insulation foam and more problems.

On the hunt for a Roof Solution. Possible Rebuilding to the Original Design or Fabricating a New Roof with Aluminium Frame and Skin as opposed to Wood Frame and Aluminium Skin. It would be Lighter for sure but the Original Frame Dimension are hard to find in Aluminium.

The Fall Rains soaked the Roof and then I found the Mess. They Patched the Corners with Soda Cans and Instant Foam. The Inner Ceiling was Wood that Rotted away as as I got it and Summer was Over.

It ruined my Winter Ski Camping Trips for sure.

It's one thing to buy something defective where the seller didn't know there were problems but quite another for sellers to lie about it, with evidence of bad repair attempts. If you took photos of evidence you might want to contact an attorney, or given you probably didn't pay much, go online and check your state's or county's small claims court procedures and filing fees.
