If you hesitated ordering a new All Terrain Camper, this might not be good news for you.

I was speaking with Jeff yesterday about my upcoming build, and he informed me the current wait time for a new ATC was now 16 months!

Customers are willing send in their deposit and wait over a year for quality that would survive the next apocalypse.

I'm guessing, this will increase the pressure on used market for good, solid, used campers and prices should climb even higher.

Forget bitcoin, maybe, and invest in something real. Invest in an All Terrain Camper!

Hope you are all well.

Yep, and it's a trend seen among other high-quality units in the RV universe. Build-wait times for the brand of my 'other' camper (one with wheels and a tongue) are about 18 months. And even with that long lead time, folks are happy to post: "Just put down my deposit -- delivery September 2022! :) "

It's very satisfying to already be an owner! :)

Might be a good time to apply for a job making campers. Not me, I'm happy no longer working.

Did Marty/Jeff give a reason for the extended wait?

Sure glad I have mine.And I thought 2 1/2 months was

a long time back in 2009.

I bet we'll see camper resale prices go up even more.

When I asked how business was, Jeff answered, "Too well."

Customers keep placing orders.

This time last year, the build lead time was 6 months. In November, when I last inquired, the wait had climbed to 12 months.

We ordered our Hawk in September of 2019 and were a bit surprised it would be December before it was built. It was delivered early in January, 2020. We took our first trip in in the Hawk mid February of 2020. All that seems so deliberate, simple and methodical now.

I guess the pandemic has has many spin-off effects that will affect us all for many years to come.

So many things converging.... spring and covid pent up demand to get outdoors.  I guess the used marketplace will reflect these lead times.
