I've got a old (80's) FWC and the accordion panels are completely delaminated.
Has anyone put electric or any other kind of lifts on their FWC ?
Thanks

I just watched this video and the thing I dont get is how the roof doesn't just fold forward or to the rear catastrophically? There are pivot points at the the top roof connection and the bottom camper shell connection, but only a locking point at the middle lifting section. this means it SHOULD tend to want to just fold like a house of cards no?
The only work around I see is having that bottom connection lower so that it cant fold out. thus on both sides being in opostion it would keep the roof from going either direction. However at 5:25 in the video you see as it is pointed straight up there is quite a bit of room for it to fold forward on the forward connection.
Explain it to me like I'm 5 please because this doesn't make sense.

Thanks Stan!
ToomuchDIY: It looks lower at 5:25 to me. Don't see how it can swing out.
