I’m thinking it’s from the same factory in China.   If my math is right, the one I linked to should just a little over $192 Canadian, plus I assume it is affected by GST for another 5%.  The Amazon Canada  price seems way out of line.

Amazon dot CA sometimes has waaay crazy prices.  Local canoe shop sells them for less here.

Those ORU kayaks look very cool.  We're becoming leery of loading hard shell 50# kayaks on the camper roof in our mid-sixties, and are looking at options for inflatable or foldable kayaks.  It does offer interesting opportunities.
