What is THE S 101 ?

Most pull outs in my area are signed no occupied vehicle parking 12.01 am till 5:30 am.

Certainly between Florence and CA, but I think a little further north too. I'm not talking so much about the paved lookouts, but the gravel ones. The paved ones near Pistol River are all OK though.

I have a spot or two i have used in the past. An area mentioned above can be pretty nice, depending and your setup and comfort driving on sand. I go there several times a year, and only once was it crowded (4th of july). If you are willing to air down and drive a bit, you can find some peace and quiet. PM me if you wish if you have other questions.
