We found Sagebrush Mariposa Lillies in the field today.   Beautiful!

Nice color they have. They will really pop on a overcast lighting.

Did the killdeer egg hatch?

Hi Patrick!  I’ve been meaning to reach out to you and Carole.  I’m going to try for better light, and maybe a macro 85/2.8 to see if I can get a better image.

Unfortunately, the killdeer abandoned the nest after several very hot days.   There are still three eggs lying undisturbed.  Maybe a photo of them, then put them where a skunk or raccoon might find a meal.

Steve your new home sure has a lot of surprises.

Nice different flower.

Frank, it’s a heuristic adventure out here.  Thanks for the kind words.
