My cheap little Hyundai Accent (2015) has a very useful feature that my much-more expensive Ford F250 (2000) lacks:  Sun visors that slide on their shaft to adjust to optimum sun-blocking position.

See my Hyundai sun visor in 3 positions:

Does anyone know of aftermarket -- or OEM (maybe modern Ford trucks have these) -- visors that slide on their shafts and would fit my 2000 F250?

I'm talking about the whole visor assembly, which would screw into the roof of the truck cab in place of the existing assembly.

I've seen add-on gizmos that clip/strap to the existing visor and can slide back and forth...but those seem a little funky.

This is been such a useful feature for me -- enabling blocking the blinding sun anywhere in >180° forward view.  The Ford visor stops before it gets to the rear-view mirror...and sometimes that's right where the sun is. It's surprising that my Ford doesn't have it. Yes, the Hyundai is 15 years newer, but this feature is simple enough that it could have been standard in Model Ts.

Mark,  my old 2000 F250 did have sliding visors.  Check with a wrecking yard.

My 2015 Super Duty has sliding visors, and yes they are nice. I'm sure you can find some used.

Hmmm....why doesn't mine?  Did I get the 'wrong' trim package??

Well, if they're available NOW or even back then, yeah I can probably get some official Ford sliding visors.

Hope they don't require any Taiwanese chips....
