I made my annual pilgrimage to the Black Rock playa for their Perseid Meteor shower campout and service trip.  As usual, it was a lot of fun (except for the heatwave that was in effect).

Here's a link to my trip report if you're interested: Friends of the Black Rock/Meteor Shower Campout 2021.

Great time and those Paellas wow.

We enjoy them when in Barcelona visiting our daughter.

Such great food. You did a great job of cooking them.

That takes a very good cooking talent,my hat off to the chefs.

Looks like a great time was had by all.

Thanks for posting.

Mr. Groovy, it looks like you've bonded with a great group of advocates for the Black Rock. And, it looks like you had a great time! Thanks for encouraging people to act and protect the very special places we cherish.

Looks like a good group of folks who are willing to invest in keeping the area pristine.

Nice people photos, including you too.  What a great spot for an e-bike!

We were thinking of visiting the playa in a week or so.  I wonder if they got enough rain to make the "road" soft?
