That is too close. Glad you escaped with only a little ash to clean up. Friends are special and they always step up when needed the most. I wish these fires would pass, but I agree with you that they will be around for sometime. Tell Julie she will be out hiking you with her bionic knees. Stay safe. JD

I'm sure some of my favorite spots burned over :(  I'd like to go see how bad the Dixie fire was around Antelope Lake but I suspect the roads will remain closed for a long time. I have my doubts if we'll be able to camp at Antelope next June even if the campgrounds weren't damaged.

thx for the report. glad to hear your home came thru, and the lady's knee is recovering.  a lot going on over a few weeks, along with the covid hovering all around.  and good to have some projects to work on, as well as give back.  keep up the good vibes, and i hope mr ted beats the big C.
