I wanted to put better/dedicated winter tires on my ruby red F350, and stumbled on a set of nearly new 18” factory take off rims at our Les Schwab tire store.  Big Ruby came with 20” rims, and I’ve always thought they contributed to a rough ride, so I was happy to find the 18s.  Ride height of the Open Range tire is nearly identical to the 20” Coopers.  I also feel better about using conventional chains on the truck.

Will they be better than the Coopers?  Time will tell.

Congratulation!  The extra rubber in sidewall height you will like in more ways than not!

Where's the picture of that beautiful truck? Almost went with Ruby Red but wanted beige interior so went with Magma Red. Options weren't plentiful in the XLT model.....
