We are selling our 1997 Chevy Express 3500 Sportsmobile Quigley 4x4 van. With only 137,000 miles on the odometer it has a lot of life left. The Sportsmobile conversion was performed in 2001 by the previous owner and it has seen very little use.

The Van:
5.7 L vortec 137,000 miles
Automatic transmission
3.73 gears
Quigley 4x4 conversion
Dana 60 front end
Manual locking hubs

RB40 conversion floor plan

Complete owner’s manual and service records for the last 20 years

Known issues:
Rocker panels have rust bubbles
Rear passenger side door has rust on inside
Hood has several places where paint has lifted as well as a spot on the top by windshield.
Onan generator turns over but doesn’t start needs service
Rear tires are worn

We all see these vans go for over $100k in the current market with lead times over 12 months. You can get one here for much less and no waiting. Located in Owensboro, KY and willing to ship to your location if that’s what you prefer.

So hard to know... 

My initial thoughts are the price is high because of the age. While its low miles for its age, I would be concerned with a 25 year old vehicle with that many miles.. 

 

Looks like a great rig though... you will know its priced right when someone buys it..  good luck!

Cool I had a Quigley 7.3 E350 a while back. It was a beast!

I believe the 5.7 was pretty reliable those years. Ive seen several with 300,000+ on them..

In this market If you want it, better grab it!
