For this year we're still using our 2008 FWC Hawk with victron DC-DC charger, 130w solar, MPPT controler

Andy, very well done! I was so nice to see so many familiar places in your photos and story. You did leave us hanging, though. Did you find the granitic boulders and what is their story? :)

Andy, very well done! I was so nice to see so many familiar places in your photos and story. You did leave us hanging, though. Did you find the granitic boulders and what is their story? :)

 

I'll post up some photos for you to see.   It's very odd to find them in a pocket, surrounded by basalt.  There's some thought they might have been transported from the Paiute Monument batholith.  They appear rounded by water action.
