There is both a county beach park and town beach park in Surfside, TX. The county park is free, I don't remember any limit but could be 14 days. The town beach has a fee, not sure of limit 'cuz I always stay t the free county park. You can drive for miles on the beach and I was usually at least a 1/4 mile from my nearest neighbor. Check tides, the really high tides come right up to the dunes and get your tire wet. LOL, but there are few are far between. The are trash cans on the beach, but to other amenities. It's great spot.
