I bought an AntiGravity XP-1 long ago at an offroad show when they first came to market. It still holds a charge and never fails to work when needed. Buy once, cry once.

I wrote a review of one of the first Antigravity units on the market and have been a fan of them since. We used a fleet of them at the Overland Expo to jump the dead vehicles and motorcycles of participants. One day Tim Scully, our instructor for field welding, and I were chatting, and I said, "I wonder if we could chain these things and weld with them?"

We did: 51910664128_a99e491650_c.jpg

Now it must be said that when I called the president of the company and told him about this, he was impressed but horrified. We put those three units right back to work and still have them.

Sorry but had to jump on the old hot rod train :)

87 K5. Still have her all rebuilt with new motor, tranny/transfer case, drivelines, etc (all you can eat but still humble in the scheme of things)

Always wanted an OG FWC for her!

Now she serves as a beach buggy up in Humboldt and we still find some trouble together.

She's a beaut Cpt. With many more years left. Thanks for sharing.

Next March 2023 when my new hip joint is totally healed we may buy another truck.

And if so I'm going to see if I can find the '99 Tacoma (Pictures in my gallery) that we owned for 14 years. 4 cylinder, 5-sd, 4WD, manual hub locks. Probably has over 250,000 miles on it and see if we can buy it back.

Put a shell on it and do some light camping,

I like the Project Farm videos on YouTube.

A couple of years ago he did his first review of jump starters …

and based on this I bought the Audew for our entire family. They have been used several times and performed flawlessly.

Recently he came out with another one…

You’ll have to watch it to see which one comes out on top!

I purchased a Lokithor JA302 battery jumper and air compressor after reading this thread, thank you everyone.  I started out looking at the pure battery jumper models and discovered the Lokithor combination.  Finding air on the road at 30 deg F after leaving home at 80 deg F has proven to be a big hassle.  Portable compressor reviews were always dissatisfying and so we struggled for years.

The Lokithor's reviews were lower than pure battery jumper models because a problem can occur in either component, jumper or compressor.  BUT... solving two issues in a small affordable package was too seductive.

I can not comment on the battery jumper feature because I just purchased 850 CCA batteries for both my trucks this winter after my dealer said they were weak.

The air compressor worked very well.  I pumped two OEM LT tires from 72 psi to 80 psi and used less than half the battery capacity with the tire air pressure increasing each psi in less than a minute, i.e. each tire topped off in around 5 minutes.

The Lokithor charges using a USB C cable which is included but does NOT include a charger.  I have a laptop with a 18 watt USB C charger which charged the Lokithor in a reasonable amount of time, 3 hours for 75% of the battery (started at 25% full).  The inverter I carry in the camper is rated for 120 watts and so the laptop charger could be used on the road.  My inverter also has a USB 3.1 charging point rated at 15 watts which works on the Lokithor but is obviously slower.  All these numbers are my best approximation and are not considered "accurate".

Hopefully my new 850 CCA gold/platinum/diamond... (standard not AGM) batteries will not need to be jumped anytime soon.

Over the years, I have had several tire leaks on the road but never a jump (knock on wood) because I replace my batteries every 5 years.  So... the compressor is a very nice feature if the Lokithor proves durable especially given seasonal temperature declines.
