It's getting time to replace the two batteries in our Northern Lite, and I noticed that Renogy has a sale on the batteries mentioned in the header.

Does anyone have these batteries, if so what is you experience with them?  Renogy batteries in general?

I also saw that they recommend a battery balancer for batteries in series or parallel.   I am not sure what that is.

Thanks in advance.

I installed their 100ah battery almost 2 years ago. I don't draw it down much, never less than 50%, so it hasn't been abused. Stays on maintenance(float) between camp trips via solar. My fridge runs on propane, so it is used mainly to charge cell phones, camper lights, fantastic fan, fridge fan. Happy with its performance so far.

I ordered the lithium 100 ah Renogy with bluetooth last year when the price was really good ($479)..

To my surprise a 200ah showed up and it fit so I kept it.   So far so good, just finished a 6 week trip and everything worked as it should.. only discharged to 75% one night running fridge and fan (seems to use a lot of energy).. but charged the next day with solar
