I’m going to post this on an RV site but thought I’d ask the group since some of us also own big RVs.
Our 2-year old Dometic 2-way fridge bit the bullet, 10 days out of warranty. 🤦♂️ The cost to have it fixed is almost as much as purchasing a new unit. In researching my options, I’ve found that more and more motorhomes/trailers are using 12v dc units instead of the old propane absorption models; larger versions of what we normally see in truck campers/vans, in the 7-9 cu ft range. Does anybody here have any experience with these larger units? Thanks in advance for your comments.
