anyone tried one of these? is on prime and only $420 after $80 off coupon. I figure with 2year warranty is worth a try. The more I measure, the more I figure my CFX3 75DZ is not gonna work without major redesign and loss of space in my (new to me) Eagle.

just placed and order for one.

First one that I've seen.  There's a youtube "unboxing video" regarding the fridge.

got the bodega today.

Looks small.

I left it in the back of my car, ran it with a portable lifepo4, It was hot in the car.

It took about one hour to get to 40F in fridge and 16F in freezer. I then brought into garage, left it off and waited a couple of hours. the temp inside only went to 55F while off. I then restarted and got it down to 33F fridge and -2 freezer.

sometimes when cycling the freezer temp swings about 8F higher, the fridge does better.

I only have on water bottle in freezer, and maybe 3 in fridge. When camping I usually bring more stuff and pack the dead space with bags of ice to maintain temp. . E77H

figured out the big temp swings, actually was getting them up to 15F higher in the freezer compartment.

in the app, there are two mode settings, Freezer and refrigerate mode. I did not see the mode part and thought it was to select fridge or freezer temp dialing. Though that is how you do the temps, you have to leave in freezer mode for it to maintain, otherwise it defaults to fridge. Definitely not as nice as the Dometic app which individual compartment temps and shows Ah and temp charts.

the power bank says is good for another five hours, Ill be up in 6, maybe it will go that long.

Bodega R50 update.

I forgot to check the fridge when I woke up, remembered to check as I was leaving around 0630.

It had already depleted the LiFePo4 battery, temp was around 40 so prolly not to long prior to me checking.

I put it on a second battery, and it ran for just over 11 hours, keeping temp in the fridge of 30 F and about 2F in the freezer.

I guestimated just under 26 watts an hour, not bad for being practically empty.

gonna run it for a few days, may put it back in the car for a more realistic run.

Bodega R50 update

I have now ran the little fridge for about 3 days.

i has been very steady, both freezer and fridge temps.

I finally brought my "new' eagle home,

after getting all the cushion covers in the wash and giving the camper a twice over cleaning, we started working on the fridge replacement.

The norcold 323t came out very easy, one gas line, ac plug and dc connectors, 2 screws in the rear and the front door and frame.

Slid right out.

We tried the bodega in the fridge cavity but is to tall by maybe 1/16th.

tape measure says it should fit but then we figured out the discrepancy.

the fridge compartment sits right above the furnace, apparently the furnace is just tall enough to warrant a hole in the bottom of the fridge compartment. this hole is covered by a 1/8 piece of wood, this piece of wood is in the way of the bodega.

We will trim the face of the cabinet tomorrow.

left the fridge in the camper running of the AGM house battery, will report after.

Capital idea with regards to the added insulation.  It should help when it's 100° F outside and inside the camper.

Update on the R50, the fridge has been keeping good temp.

the wifi and bluetooth signal stopped working.

I contacted the vendor but they keep just sending me emails about trying the same steps again, or ask which app I am trying to use.

Not having bluetooth or wifi would not be a big deal, except is the only way to easily change modes.

October update on the Bodega.

I returned the first one and got a second one.

Luckily, it R&R's easy.

The first one had the wifi radio go out.

The second one did the same 3 days in, i did everything the seller advised to do, plus everything I know to do.

I used different IOS and Android devices.

After about a week of trying, the wifi came back again.

It has now been working for the last 4 days.

If wifi goes out again, not gonna worry about it, it still keeps good temp.

for $400, is worth it.

is averaging around 510 watts per day, I think my CFX3 75DZ uses around 420 watts per day with better wifi/bluetooth app, at a 70% higher premium.

I should get rid of it but is one of the nicest camping buys ever.
