I was going to mention that the foxes would like them. If you can train the foxes to come in and mouse for you??  Put the fear of fox in them vermin.   The Coopers hawks like mine.

Fear the Fox!

I like that. :)

I have a cat that takes care of the rodents, even the foxes keep their distance.

The Fort Sagebrush foxes are slackers, once again there have been mice in the Fearless Ranger.  It’s a good thing the traps are vigilant.  I believe these two bring the count to 9.

Nice clean head/neck kills. I've tried other baits but I always come back to peanut butter.

Yesterday morning had a kill, so I thought.. the trap is gone no where to be seen. Most likely a creature of the night took mouse and all. Got one this morning and waiting for our male Cooper hawk to fly in.

Peanut butter works for me.

I found a full trap in the mud room yesterday. Well, sort of "full". For some reason the mouse was missing it's head.

We have a Coopers Hawk who hangs out here too (bird feeders, a lot of quail) Do you put the mice out for him?

I’m guessing a cat or canine.   Magpies usually get our dispatched critters before other predators.

The male coopers hawk likes me when we get mice. The
mate not so much and Flys off if I offer it to her.

They like to terrorize the feeder birds. Feeding him a mouse probably saves a birds life for the morning.
