I know a guy who lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I was talking to him tonight, he told me that his car wouldn't start this morning because of the cold.
I don't know what typical is for early December in Winnipeg, but looks like it'll be brisk again tonight -- especially the windchill factor.

Note that these are °F.
He tells me that -40 is not unusual, with windchill.
And -40° is that magic temperature for which you don't need to specify C or F.

When I lived in WInipeg in the 90's, we had one stretch where the daytime high never went above -30*C ( -22*F ) for over 30 days.  That was cold!!

I, however, am experiencing very different climate than my Winnipeg friend.

About 10 gallons and a full tank.

You?  I suspect you’re getting more snow than we are.

It’s a pretty morning.

Here's what AccuWeather says the Bend area can expect, snow-wise, over the next few days:
IMG_20221209_113911.jpg
It's a typical amount for Bend. We can get a foot or more, but it's rare.
