Has anyone in the San Francisco East Bay area had their stove fixed? I'm frustrated because I started working on this when I got the email from four wheel. I contacted Suburban and they gave me a Sonoma place that said they don't do repair work. After calling around, San Leandro RV and trailer offered to do the work, but it's been over a month and they haven't received the part.

Nope.  I contacted a couple of the authroized service centers in the Central Valley that Suburban suggested (40 minutes away) and never got a response back.  My opinion is that the service centers, 1) have likely never seen an FWC before, so there is more uncertainty in the effort required to make the repair, and 2) they are only compenated for 15 minutes of labor according to the recall documentation I saw. So, unless Suburban forces them to do the work, they don't have much incentive. We are regestered for the FWC NorCal rally in June, and I suspect this will be a hot topic of conversation...

I've contacted Suburban too and my repair center is waiting for the part too.  There was some interesting info in the email from them about submitting a claim for cost associated with the recall.  I'll see what happens as the repair center is waiting for the part.  Talking to them, I don't think they've done a repair yet (either not many of these were sold of people don't know about the recall).  It's been about 2 weeks since the part was supposed to be sent out.
