We got to reap the benefits of the road closures from this years storms. The secondary, dirt access roads led us to some uncrowded goodness up in the hills. The national forest is making quite a comeback since the fires.

Very cool.
The one time I tried to get up into LPNF (about a million years ago) the road was closed. Though camping at Kirk Creek on the coast was a nice consolation prize.

Hope to get down along the coast but the road is still closed.
Maybe later in the summer.
Nice places to spend some time and close to home.
