What was originally on the passenger side of an older Fleet? Mine has the remnants of some “custom” mods from the previous owner, so I’m looking at options for a rebuild. Was the roll- over couch a thing back then? Whatever I end up with, I’d like to have seating that converts to sleeping for one- I think two might be a stretch given the space.

What do you have/what have you seen that you like? Feel free to post photos. Thanks!

There was a back rest that was also used in front of the seats to make the bed wider.  There was some metal slots in front of the seat wall to hold the back rest to the seat cushions. Sometimes if the backrest was not bungeed down it would fly around the camper on some exciting roads.

As a empty shell you sure can make it anyway that serves you the best.

I have found the rollover couch takes up a lot of room and therefore prefer a shell. We use a big bench seat up towards the front of the camper (big storage box under) and use a slide out insert to create a bottom bunk.. works great and more floor space for our 2 dogs.
