I've been really happy with the winter performance of the Alaskan. I purchased a pair 6v GC batteries from Costco, installed just forward of each wheel well. I have a Honda 2000 generator that we run for a few hours from setup/sundown to bedtime. I can run the furnace on low all night, keeping the cabin around 55 F and then crank it up the next morning to 68 F. Batteries on average drop from 12.6 to 12.4.

Did I read that right, do you have 4 golf cart batteries, two on each side? That's some impressive capacity?

No. 1 on each side. I see how you read it that way.

After a couple years looking (as well as lurking on this site) and saving, we found this 2009 10' CO.  This photo was taken just after picking it up.  We're real excited for the opportunities this will provide us.
