The rock formations were also rather amazing.

But how do I move pictures from the gallery to the forum and have them come up without having to click on the address?

The widget appears to be broken... Use "[ img ]", then the link, e.g., http:// www. wanderthewest. com/ forum/
uploads/1297905924/gallery_2153_281_190610.jpg and then the terminator, "[ /img ]" ... without all the spaces...

Use the "Insert image" icon, as shown in photo below, and copy-paste the address/url (where it says "Image URL") that links to the gallery post.

Mark - What browser are you using? "Insert image" widget works fine on Chrome -- that's how I inserted the screen shot in my post.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
This is my pathetic attempt to use the insert button.

I am missing something.

Any way we had some great hikes in desert country. This day was very hot. Other days, especially up in the mountains we froze.
Fantastic range of options.

After meeting Barko, Simimike and Stew at the Cottonwoods the high point of our trip was Big Bend Ranch State Park. We knew would like it when we checked in Saturday night to see which of the 50 odd remote campsites might be available. We learned that there was only one other party staying in the park that night and they were at the lodge. Having bought a FWC because it is a FWDC we were happy to learn that many campsites can only be reached with FWD and in some case a shovel and pick as well.

Our first campsite was Yerda II. Expand the thumbnail and look for the white square in the middle of the picture. That is our Eagle with the roof up.

Found them, thanks for great images. Glad you enjoyed the area. Big Bend is a big surprise to many, not necessarily what one pictures when thinking of Texas. The temperature variation can also be a surprise, I was considering going back at the end of the week but it has already gotten over 90 some days.

I was trying in my last post to include more than one picture. Can't do it and have the text come out where I want it.
I am giving up. I will post pictures in the gallery but trying to get them to the forum is more work than I am up for.

Either I didn't operate the widget correctly, or it was temporary; either way, it works now for me too.
