Congratulations. Great looking rig! Now you can enjoy camping without all the hassle.

One comment....replace the FWC thermostat with an inexpensive (cheapo) programmable thermostat from Walmart. It is much more precise and you can program it to turn on the furnace 20 minutes before you get up.....so you will have a warm camper in the morning. Best $19 I ever spent. Mine is a "Hunter" brand....and the installation is simple. Since it is digital....you can set the furnace temperature with pinpoint accuracy.

Great idea. And you can set it to turn down the temp after bed time. Just need to remember to replace the batteries. Don't know if I want that much automation. I can easilly reach the lever from the bed and turn it on when I want it. That way I don't have the heater waking me up if I choose to sleep in.

It's even a good idea if you choose to use it manually....as the digital format allows for accuracy down to the degree! With the fwc thermostat...it's a "ball park" kind of thing.

My only dissapointment so far was that I was told that the Thetford Electric Porta/Potty 465 would fit the Raven cubby hold by the door and it doesn't  So I'm out $145.00 if I can't sell it (bought online (no returns)). I'll try to get $100 for it on craigslist.

Save it-never know when you don't feel like digging a hole in the middle of nowhere :lol:or it's snowing outside-you'll find a place to use it inside!-think of all the fun you'll have with that new toy of yours (the FWC-not the pp) and adventures waiting to happen!

I must not have updated this thread. Shortly after posting I replace the seat bolts with shorter ones and got the potti to fit. Nice and snug so it stays put:

BobM, I love your Raven and am getting ready to order mine. I have a question or two for you on your truck. I am starting to get mine ready, E rated tires and suspension ect.....

What type of suspension did you use? And how does the 1500 do power wise with your load?

I have a 1500 also Z71 four door.

Mine is on a 2wd ram 1500 5.7 hemi. The only upgrade is airbags but I only have 5lbs in them and dont know if I needed them. I have plenty of power and barely notice the camper. You will be happy:-)
