$2.49 at Shell station in Auburn. I only needed 13 gals to top off since my last fill up on March 6. I just needed to see what it felt like to pay under $3.00 gal.
$2.139 today at the Pilot in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
We did our first fill up in a month for $21.45.

Today was my first fill-up in a month, too.
I would have gone even longer if I didn’t have a reason for 'necessary' travel.

We're at 3.09 in Grass Valley, less if you buy un-branded. I'm hoping for under $3.00 as my fall-winter trips are coming up.

It's even $3.09 here in Monterey.
Waiting to go somewhere besides the store.

A prediction for the national average this weekend:
"LABOR DAY GAS PRICES LOWEST SINCE 2004"
Being retired, I don't plan to travel this weekend despite the exciting headline.

Gas now, travel later. Isn’t that an advantage of being retired?

Yesterday I paid $2.099/gal for regular in Benson, southeast Arizona, and today I paid $1.899 in Deming, southwest New Mexico. Both of these are on Interstate 10.
That beats the $2.399/gal unleaded regular we bought in Gardnerville, NV.
